Easy Banana Ice Cream

The riper bananas are, the more flavour they have. Try making ice cream as a banana bread alternative.

Ingredients

  • Ripe bananas
  • Splash of milk
  • Vanilla essence (to taste)
  • Optional: tbsp peanut butter or grated chocolate

Method

Skin and slice the ripe bananas into rounds. Lay out on a plate or dish that can go in the freezer. Pop into the freezer for 2 hours.

Remove from the freezer and add to a food processor, or use a stick blender, to whizz the frozen rounds. Adding a splash of milk and some vanilla essence will help this along. You can also add a tablespoon of peanut butter, or grated chocolate.

Spoon out and enjoy.
